Sketch of The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche
The
president of Nalandabodhi is the Seventh
Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, a leading scholar
and meditation master. Rinpoche is an adept in the
Buddhist science of mind and versed in the nuances
of modern day cultures, both East and West.
Rinpoche is also the driving force behind the development
of nalandabodhi.org and related websites.
Nitartha international was founded by The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche
to preserve Tibetan texts and to support the Tibetan educational and cultural
heritage through the use of modern technology.
Rinpoche is one of the Abbots of Dzogchen Monastery.

Tenzin Namdak
Tenam
is The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche's main assistant. He studied many
years at Dzogchen Monastery before beginning to work full time for
Rinpoche. Tenam is highly adept at personal computer technology,
and is one of the lead designers of the fonts used in the Nitartha-Sambhota
Tibetan word processing system. He teaches ritual arts and practices
at Nalandabodhi.
