She met Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche when he was teaching at Hong Kong University in 2010 and requested to become his formal student. At that time, she was a Mahayana nun pursuing her PhD in Buddhist Studies. She then went to Nepal to meet Khenpo Ts\u00fcltrim Gyamtso Rinpoche and returned her monastic vows shortly after this encounter.<\/p><p>Since then, she has been a member of Nalandabodhi and \u00a0a student at Nitartha Institute.
