Dr. Doty presenteerde dat Zijne Heiligheid een Stanford-hemd kreeg aangeboden. Nalandabodhi&#039;s <a title=\"Mitra Dean Tyler Dewar\" href=\"http:\/\/nalandabodhi.org\/nl\/teachers\/teacher-bios\/mitra-tyler-dewar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mitra Dean Tyler Dewar<\/a>\u00a0diende als vertaler voor Zijne Heiligheid.<\/p><p>Zijne Heiligheid is het hoofd van de 900 jaar oude Karma Kagyu-lijn van het Tibetaans Boeddhisme, die miljoenen Boeddhisten wereldwijd leidt. Op 14-jarige leeftijd maakte de Karmapa een dramatische ontsnapping uit Tibet en vluchtte naar India en verblijft tijdelijk in het Gyuto-klooster. Zijne Heiligheid Karmapa is een wereldwijd erkende milieuleider, leider van een <a href=\"http:\/\/www.khoryug.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beweging voor eco-duurzaamheidspraktijken<\/a> in meer dan 55 kloosters in de Himalaya.
