As a supplement to the following weekend on the Mah\u0101mudr\u0101 prayer of aspiration of the Third Karmapa given at Bodhicharya (Berlin-Germany), this Thursday evening we will explore a short chant of realization by the great Mah\u0101mudr\u0101 master N\u0101ropa. The chant is called \u201c A synopsis of Mah\u0101mudr\u0101\u201d and explains in condensed form the essential points of Mah\u0101mudr\u0101 view, meditation, conduct, and fruition. It is said that N\u0101ropa often used this song to give short Mah\u0101mudr\u0101 teachings, such as to his famous Tibetan disciple Marpa Lots\u0101wa.<\/p>
