Tara Drüpchen 2022 – The Feminine Divine

All wisdom traditions, including Buddhism, say that the antidote to fear is loving-kindness. In Vajrayana Buddhism, the figure of Tara symbolises loving-kindness and compassion — and a strong resolve to dispel the fears of all beings. She is like the mother of the Buddhas—the feminine divine. At the same time, the Tara-principle is something we all have: buddha-nature.

How to call upon Tara? How to ask for her guidance? And, ultimately, how to recognise the buddha-nature within ourselves?

We joyfully announce the seventh annual Tara Drupchen to be held by the Nalandabodhi International sangha: September 23th – 25th. This weekend’s practice intensive includes sadhana or ritual practice, meditations, and teachings from Nalandabodhi teachers. All are welcome to attend online, make prayer requests, and offer positive aspirations by registering for this free event. Please join us in connecting with The Feminine Divine – Tara.
