Dear Nalandabodhi Sangha Members,
NBI will host another Zoom Hosting training session on October 4, 2020, at 10 am PDT. Colin Stubbert, who helped host our Open Online Retreat, Nitartha Summer classes, and other NBI-hosted online events will lead the training.
This training will cover basic Zoom skills such as:
- Setting up a Zoom room
- Creating translator “booths”
- Recording sessions
- Disabling chat
- Mute/Unmute participants (individuals or all)
- Screen and sound share
It will also introduce and review NBI’s Online Program Staff Sheet that can be used as a template for Zoom teachings and practices. This document has useful information such as:
- Identifying staff roles
- Clarifying responsibilities
- Best practices for hosting teachings
- A sample show-flow for an online talk
