On the occasion of hearing today’s sad news of the passing of Lama Tharchin Rinpoche, I offer my heartfelt prayers of meaningful connection. I also offer my prayers and condolences to his students. Lama Tharchin Rinpoche was a preeminent master of the Early Translation Nyingma School. As a direct disciple of both H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche and Kyabje Dungse Trinley Norbu Rinpoche, he compassionately and extensively propagated the teachings of the Great Perfection in the West and throughout the world. I am very appreciative of Rinpoche’s enlightened activities for the Buddha’s teachings and sentient beings. I will be keeping Rinpoche’s students in my thoughts, and I pray that their practice will be fruitful at this poignant and important time.
