Nalandabodhi devotes a calendar month to emphasize the study and practice of the six paramitas. The six paramitas, or liberating virtues, as taught in Mahayana Buddhism, include generosity, discipline, patience, diligence, meditative concentration, and wisdom.
Because the month of June celebrates prajna, or wisdom, Nalandabodhi Seattle and Nalanda West will host Mitra Tyler Dewar over Zoom to discuss the Paramita of Prajna. This paramita informs the skillful activity of the other five liberating virtues.
This event is open to the public, please read here for more information and to learn more about one of Nalandabodhi’s senior teachers, Mitra Tyler Dewar.
