Nadine Selden found her Buddhist path after traveling to Tibet in 1998 and joined the sangha at Sakya Monastery in Seattle. After attending Nitartha classes at Nalanda West and hearing teachings on dependent arising by Dzochen Ponlop Rinpoche, she became his student in 2011.
She is a mother of two and a grandmother of five children. She is retired after 30+ years as a research manager for newspapers in Los Angeles, San Jose and Seattle, and as an administrator for missions with the international Red Cross in Cambodia, the Balkans and Turkey.
