Nancy Tremblay

Program Coordinator

Nancy was born in the province of Quebec, Canada. Her parents were cooks at a lumber
camp in the boreal forest when she was a baby. Perhaps this is part of the reason for her
great love of nature and animals and why she enjoys gardening in summer.

Eager to learn about Buddhism, Nancy asked a friend named Google for help. When
Google introduced her to Nalandabodhi, she was instantly enchanted by the idea of
being so well supported by 3 paths. She was fortunate enough to become a student of
Rinpoche in 2011, then took on the role of Finance Coordinator for the Montreal
sangha. In 2017, she coordinated, with Nalandabodhi Foundation, the purchase of the
only French-speaking Nalandabodhi center.

Nancy is now the Practice Coordinator for the Montreal sangha and a member of the
programming team for the Mahasiddha Retreat Centre in Canada (MRC). She lives in
Montreal where she works as a medical doctor specializing in psychiatry. Her
participation in the three-year Karuna Training Program in Paris inspired her to create
various group treatment programs to help her patients through meditation. Her mother
tongue is French, she also speaks English and gets by in Spanish.
