A contingent of joyful Nalandabodhi students began arriving in Nepal in late February, bringing gifts and preparing for the festivities honoring the 80th Birthday of our beloved Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche on March 5, which coincided closely this year with Losar, ushering in the Year of the Wood Horse. We’re delighted to share a video of these events with you!

Students of Khenpo Rinpoche and of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche made offering of gifts, songs, and dances in gratitude for the great kindness of Khenpo Rinpoche, who is known for composing dohas, songs of realization, and for encouraging his students to dance with joyous vigor and open awareness.

Heartfelt thanks to Karma and Jill Gyaltshen, Josh Erickson, Diane Gregorio, and Susan Busby for the beautiful images featured here, and to Amy Gharst for creating this lovely video. Enjoy!
