As a supplement to the following weekend on the Mahāmudrā prayer of aspiration of the Third Karmapa given at Bodhicharya (Berlin-Germany), this Thursday evening we will explore a short chant of realization by the great Mahāmudrā master Nāropa. The chant is called “ A synopsis of Mahāmudrā” and explains in condensed form the essential points of Mahāmudrā view, meditation, conduct, and fruition. It is said that Nāropa often used this song to give short Mahāmudrā teachings, such as to his famous Tibetan disciple Marpa Lotsāwa.
