2025 is the year of the Wood Snake and this year’s calendar features images and quotes inspired by Exemplary Women in Buddhism. In stock Oct. 31. Now available!

The Complete Tibetan Calendar is co-published annually by Nalandabodhi and Nitartha International. This calendar marks the dates of the important Buddhist holidays, anniversaries of important lineage figures, and other significant dates considered auspicious for regular meditation practices and other activities. Uniquely, this calendar includes detailed astrological information: the daily conjunction between the Tibetan Tsurluk lunisolar and the Western (Gregorian) solar calendars. The more commonly used Tibetan Phukluk calendar month and date are also included, for reference.

The aspiration for the calendar, as originally set into motion by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche more than a decade ago, is cultural and lineage preservation. The calendar is published every year so that this ancient and uncommon Tibetan Tsurluk lunisolar astrological system, unique to our Kagyu Lineage, is not lost to time.

Considerable resources go into producing the calendar every year, so please consider supporting this project by purchasing one, and also help us share and encourage those with an interest to purchase the calendar too, via the Nalanda Store.
