Stephanie Mikolaj (she/they) was raised in Northern Illinois, and currently lives in Colorado Springs, CO with her spouse Ben and dog Kraken. Stephanie found their interest in the Dharma during their undergraduate studies and expanded those interests by pursuing a Master’s Degree in Indo-Tibetan Religious Studies at Naropa University (2015-2018). Stephanie has held multiple roles in the sangha including Summer Coordinator for Nitartha Institute (2018-2022) and Managing Director for Nalanda West (2019-2020). They have been a member of Nalandabodhi since 2017 and a student of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche since 2018. 

Stephanie is a spiritual care provider in the hospital setting offering spiritual support in healthcare crises and transitions, the intersections of spiritual and mental health, and end of life care. Stephanie enjoys being outdoors, spending time with loved ones, and playing in creative spaces.
