As we prepare for the year of the Wood Snake, we invite the Nalandabodhi Sangha to help fulfill Rinpoche’s aspiration to uplift the Mahabodhi Shrine Room at Nalanda West.
The Mahabodhi Shrine Room is where we gather each year at Sangha Retreat to receive precious teachings from Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche and Nalandabodhi’s Acharyas, Lamas, and Mitras. For the last 20 years, it has been the heart of our sangha family home at Nalanda West, and is the site of many profound teachings and events.
Please help us restore and renew the Mahabodhi Shrine Room this year. Your gift can help to make it a beautiful and bright container for the gift of dharma we receive from our teachers.
We invite you to watch the video below to hear from Mitra Dean Tyler Dewar about the special interdependence in which we are being invited to participate by supporting this project.
As we begin the year of the Wood Snake, let’s honor our precious Teacher and the precious teachings by uplifting the Mahabodhi Shrine Room.
The main repairs and improvements needed are:
The estimated cost for repair and renewal of the shrine room is $50,000. Thanks to the generosity of two sangha members, we have been offered a $25,000 matching gift fund. This means your contributions will be doubled until we reach our goal. What an auspicious beginning! Please, if you can, help us fulfill Rinpoche’s aspiration for the shrine room.
