Sangha Retreat 2022 FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Sangha Retreat represents a unique and very fortunate opportunity for formal Nalandabodhi students to receive Vajrayana teachings. As such, we ask that Sangha Retreat participants remain present with video cameras on so that we can create and sustain a supportive container for our respected and beloved teachers and these very precious teachings.

Through the generosity of our teachers and the dedication of our Sangha Retreat volunteers, we will endeavor to create recordings of most sessions and have these posted on our Sangha Retreat webpage within hours of the end of each session.  (Some restricted sessions, along with the Feast, will not be recorded.).  The recordings will be available for 72 hours after the end of each session.

Thank you for your kind heart, your support of Rinpoche’s vision, and appreciation of Sangha Retreat as a meritorious time to make offerings.  To support Nalandabodhi,

We’re delighted that you feel a strong connection to the materials and would like to have your own personal copy.  We are creating a list of participants who are interested in receiving the retreat materials.  To be added to the list, please complete the online form found here. After the retreat, someone will contact you when materials are available.  Please note:  It’s unclear at this point exactly what the process and availability will be, and how long it will take.  We will do our best!  Thank you for your devotion and your patience!

When logged into the retreat Zoom session, participants sometimes see a message that says the link or session has “expired.”  This often occurs when participants stay logged in during a meal break.  No need to worry!  Simply try the Zoom link again a few minutes before the next session starts and you should be able to connect at that time.

If you’re connected to the retreat zoom session and you see the message “please wait for host to start this meeting”, this simply means that you have arrived early.  You will be admitted to the session shortly before it begins.  Please note that the schedule for the Sangha Retreat found on the Resources webpage reflects  Pacific Daylight Time (US and Canada).
